Lapwings Barn Accommodation
The accommodation is recently converted and finished
to a high standard.
The bedroom (downstairs) can be
prepared for twin or double occupancy (please specify requirements)
the en-suite bathroom comprises Mira thermostatic electric
shower with glass screen, basin, WC and heated towel rail.
The living room is upstairs to
take advantage of the views, it has original exposed beams, patio doors
leading onto a large
balcony.
Provided for your comfort in living room are a colour
TV and log-burning stove, logs are provided during your stay. (Of-course
the accommodation is also centrally heated)
Lapwings has its own stone porch entrance, although connected
by one door to Howestone Barn (owner’s accommodation),
this door is locked to
both sides.
This suite is not a self-catering unit, a kettle, coffee/tea
and small fridge are provided but there are no cooking facilities. We
will provide the breakfast you request, (we use local produce where possible)
at the time you request, in your lounge.
For lunch or evening meal there
is a wide variety to choose from in and around Kendal , (we can advise
you)for both bar and restaurant meals.
Curlew Quarters
A lovely double or twin room on the ground floor with ample
en-suite bathroom incorporating both shower and separate bath. The stable
door opens onto a gravel area with pot plants and outdoor seating. Curlew
quarters has it's own separate access and your choice of breakfast is
served in the room.
